Services & Information

Information on water, roads, and community services — with the contacts you need first.

Water emergencies come first

For all water problems or questions, residents should FIRST contact our water management team.

Contact Bob Spurr, Water Lead at 206-510-1282 (urgent only, please) or by email. Leave a voicemail.

If you have a significant emergency or water leak — turn off your water at the meter near the road. It's easy and needs only a quarter turn to shut off all water from the meter to your home.

If you don't get a response within an hour from Bob or another water team member and you're unable to stop the water flow, call Water & Wastewater Services, LLC at 800-895-8821 or page 360-630-0970.

Do not wait, and do not call a plumber for repairs, if you have a leak that cannot be stopped.

Water system

We have two water systems in the association. System #1 is on Michael Way and serves Michael Way, O'Farrell, and Hibbard. System #2 is off South Lawson Road and serves Lawson Road, Solar Way, and a portion of New Morning Road.

Planned outages

From time to time we must shut down one system for maintenance. When that happens we open the intertie to allow continued service — please conserve water, as some homes see lower pressure. Check this website for planned and unplanned outages.

Who notifies our purveyor

We contract with Water & Wastewater Services for system management, but only board representatives should notify W&WS — we're charged a fee for call-outs on issues we already know about. In a known outage, we'll email you updates as soon as possible.

Water quality reports

A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) — the annual water quality report — provides information on local drinking water quality and is released each April for the previous year.

Monthly water reports

Our water services purveyor produces monthly reports for both systems, showing consumption compared to previous months and routine maintenance highlights.

Roads, shoulders & ditches

Contact Randy VanDivier, 360-965-8586 (urgent only please), or email the roads committee.

Drive safely — 25 mph, always

Neighbors walk, bike, collect mail, and children play along our roads. Because of persistent speeding, the board has authorized the Island County Sheriff's Office to monitor our roads and issue tickets as appropriate. We also encourage reflective clothing when walking.

Road easements

We contract with Camano Slope and Brush to maintain plant growth in easement areas, generally in June and October. Homeowners must keep easements free of tree debris and manmade materials for safe access; unresponsive homeowners will be billed for outside removal. Vehicles may not be parked on a road easement for more than 2 hours. Report downed trees, dumping, or accidents to the roads committee.
